About
I was born and raised in Houston/The Woodlands, Tx. Moved to Austin, Tx in 2004 for college, and graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2010. I ran a public access show while in college featuring sketch shorts and man-on-the-street interviews. I won a car via the “HEB: Make Your Own Commercial” contest in 2007, then sold the car and used the money to purchase my first professional camera. I made a Tom Hanks tribute music video for my old band Driver Friendly that garnered a complimentary Tweet from Tom and gained enough recognition to get a record deal. This allowed the band to tour the country many times over. Between tours, I continued to make more music videos, commercials, and films. In 2015, I retired from drumming and became a full-time director and editor working with clients like Samsung, P&G, AMC, and TED. It’s been a fun ride so far.
